One issue I have with the shoe is the heels. They have radiused corners, not a problem in itself, but the outsole is soft blown rubber which makes the foot susceptible to rolling. I solved this issue by wearing ankle support, but would not feel comfortable without this extra support.
The shoe could use more ventilation, there are some tiny holes to allow the artificial leather to breathe, but not nearly enough. But for a half to a third the price of top of the line Nikes, I give these shoes a 4 for overall value.
I am generally a New Balance fan, but their line of BB shoes is limited, clunky, and not comfortable, even the wide ones.
- Medium (D) and Wide Width (3E)
- Upper: Combination of leathers, synthetics and meshes for support and breathability.
- Midsole: Full Phylon midsole wtih a TPU shank for stability.
- Outsole: Solid rubber and traditional herringbone for optimal traction.
